Council provides and maintains the network of street lights which illuminate our urgan streets.
Council uses 20 per cent ‘green energy’ to power street lighting.
In some urban areas, there are no power lines which means there can be no street lighting. New street light installations and variations to the existing network are considered according to their merits.
